Reed HR have partnered with a company in Kent who are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team, serving as a strategic partner to senior leaders and site management teams across multiple locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing People strategies, driving talent management initiatives, and nurturing a strong organisational culture. This role involves managing a team including a Talent Manager, People Analyst, and People Administrator, and requires regular travel to engage with key stakeholders.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Implement People initiatives that support business growth and align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on HR policies, best practices, and employee relations matters.
  • Travel between sites to provide support, foster communication, and address site-specific needs.
  • Act as the point of contact for TUPE processes, ensuring smooth transitions and consultations.
  • Develop and implement talent strategies and succession planning programs in collaboration with the Talent Manager.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle, ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and exit processes.
  • Promote a positive work culture, focusing on employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations issues.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate professional development programs.
  • Use analytics to monitor and report on KPIs, providing data-driven insights to shape People strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent people management skills and goal-oriented approach.
  • Thorough understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong financial, commercial, and people skills to support business performance.
  • Proven ability to engage and motivate people at all levels.
  • Substantial generalist HR experience advising and coaching managers.
  • Experience in coaching at senior management level.
  • Experience with large scale TUPE is desirable.
  • Effective workforce resource planning experience is desirable.
  • Relevant People Management qualification (e.g., Level 5 CIPD) is desirable.
  • Degree or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
