Location: Gillingham, Kent

Working Hours:

  • Mon: 7.30 am - 4 pm
  • Tues-Thurs: 7.30 am - 3 pm
  • Fri: 7.30 am - 2.30 pm

About the Role

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you'll be the right-hand person to the HR Manager, playing a crucial role in shaping and driving the HR strategy. You'll support the business by leading initiatives in talent management, employee engagement, and performance optimisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with senior leadership

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals
  • Talent Management: Lead efforts in succession planning, talent acquisition, and employee development
  • Employee Engagement & Retention: Develop initiatives to improve satisfaction and reduce turnover
  • Performance Management: Oversee goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes
  • Compensation & Benefits: Provide strategic guidance on compensation planning and employee benefits

What We're Looking For:

  • CIPD Level 7 certification (or equivalent) with generalist HR experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in manufacturing (desirable, but not essential)
  • Knowledge of Workday (desirable)
