Tradewind Recruitment are sourcing for a dedicated Primary Teacher to teach a KS2 class on a full-time basis commencing from September till the end of the academic year. This role will include planning and marking responsibilities and interviews will take place ASAP. This role will be on a temp-to-perm basis and is welcome to both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The school is a Junior School in Rochester, that has recently been inspected by Ofsted and are expecting a positive reflection of the school. It is a school in transition and has taken positive strides to promote and encourage the personal and educational development of their children. The school is accessible via public transport and has on site parking

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in KS2.
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS2 would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
