Year 4 Teacher - Gillingham

Full-time - £130-£150 per day - December 2024 - Temp

Tradewind are currently working with a Primary School in Gillingham, recruiting for a Year 4 Teacher for a temporary contract from last week of December towards the end of term 3. This will be on a full-time basis and shortlisting is happening now! This role is welcome to both ECTs and experienced Teachers. There is possibility this booking could be extended.

This school is a two-form form entry Primary school in the centre of Gillingham, with excellent public transport links. The school has been graded Good by Ofsted and highlighted the strength of the teaching as well as the comfort that the pupils feel whilst in school. Behaviour is good on the whole and they have a robust behaviour policy that is well supported.

The school doesn't have onsite parking, but there is ample parking space close to the school.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in Year 4.
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum with time as a Year 4 Teacher highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
