Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies that align with our mission and goals.

  • Produce engaging content for various platforms such as social media, our website, newsletters, and press releases.

  • Forge and nurture relationships with media outlets and journalists.

  • Organise and oversee events, campaigns, and other promotional activities to boost awareness and engagement.

  • Evaluate the impact of communication initiatives and refine strategies accordingly.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a unified and consistent message.

  • Manage crisis communication and uphold the organisation’s reputation.

  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in communications and public relations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in a communications role, ideally within the non-profit sector.

  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
