Our client, a successful fast-growing organisation, is currently seeking a Purchase ledger Assistant to join their current team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.

  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices in line with company procedures.

  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies promptly.

  • Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payment runs via BACS and CHAPS.

  • Maintaining up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.

  • Dealing with supplier queries and building strong relationships with key vendors.

  • Assisting with month-end processes including accruals and reporting.

  • Monitoring the aged creditors report and ensuring timely payments.

  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure PO/invoice queries are resolved.

  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties and audits as required.
