Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join their expanding team in Gillingham, Kent.
The role involves preparing estimates for PQQs, ITTs, pitches, and proposals while collaborating with the marketing and business development manager.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in construction estimating.
The position offers a competitive salary of £45,000 to £55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join their expanding team in Gillingham Kent.

The Job:

• Prepare estimates for specified responses to PQQs, ITTs, pitches and proposals in conjunction with marketing and business development manager.

• Hand over budgets to commercial / QS department for take on.

Responsibilities:

• Creation, management and monitoring of budgets for tenders, pitches and proposals

• Hand over of information to commercial department and maintenance of information on Web

Key Tasks:

• Compiling assigned compliant and competitive tenders, within deadlines.

• Pre-handover budget compiling and guided value engineering.

• Post-handover budget inputting onto Web.

• Attend assigned handover meetings and ensure all information is agreed and recorded.

• Continue liaison with commercial and contracts departments as required.

• Liaise with procurement, ordering and finance for pricing and costs of labour and materials.
