Are you a proactive and reliable individual with a knack for keeping things running smoothly? Academcis are working with a vibrant school who are seeking an Assistant Premises Manager and help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Premises Manager in the day-to-day upkeep of the school's buildings and grounds
  • Assist with site security, including locking/unlocking premises and responding to emergencies
  • Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and health & safety checks
  • Help set up and dismantle equipment for school events and activities
  • Supervise cleaning staff and ensure high standards of cleanliness
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies
  • Cover for the Premises Manager as required


What We're Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience in maintenance or site management (experience in a school setting is a bonus)
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to adapt to the needs of a busy school environment
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor
