Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives in their Wax Production department to assist in the manufacturing, finishing, and testing of their products. Full training will be given, so you do not need to have worked in this field before.

Main Duties

  • Processing parts in accordance with production schedules
  • Preparing and testing the ceramic slurry mix
  • Loading, operating, and unloading the robotic wax injection machine to manufacture ceramic shell moulds. Hand dipping moulds where appropriate
  • Removing wax from the ceramic moulds utilising a boilerclave
  • Quality checking products and updating records
  • Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
  • Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy

Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment
  • A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills
  • You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting
  • Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided

Hours

46 hours a week. Monday-Thursday 6PM-6AM*

*Please be aware you will be required to work the day shift 6AM-6PM until fully trained, up to 3 months. A 15%-night shift premium will be added once fully trained and working the night shift.
