Position: Full-Time Mathematics Teacher (KS3–KS5, Long-Term Supply)
Location: Rainham, Medway
Start Date: Easter 2025 – Until End of Academic Year
Are you a confident and experienced Mathematics teacher with a passion for teaching up to Key Stage 5? Supply Desk are currently working in partnership with a popular co-educational secondary school in Rainham (Medway) who are seeking a dedicated Maths teacher to support their KS5 classes on a full-time, long-term supply basis from Easter 2025 through to the end of the academic year.
This school offers a friendly, forward-thinking teaching environment with a strong focus on academic excellence and student engagement, particularly at post-16 level.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be joining a high-achieving Maths department, with a specific focus on A-Level Maths and supporting pupils through exam preparation. You’ll play a key role in inspiring learners and ensuring they reach their full potential across KS3 to KS5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver outstanding Maths lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Support A-Level students with targeted, challenging, and engaging content
- Prepare students for internal assessments and final exams
- Take full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and data tracking
- Foster a supportive and enthusiastic learning environment
- Collaborate with the wider department to contribute to the school’s academic goals
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics up to A-Level
- Excellent subject knowledge and confidence in delivering higher-level content
- Strong classroom management and clear communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- A genuine passion for Maths and inspiring young minds
