Key Responsibilities as an Religious Education Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.

  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and respect.

Requirements for the Religious Education Teacher Role:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Specialise in Religious Education or a related subject.
  • Be passionate about promoting respect and understanding through Religious Education.
  • Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
