We are seeking a dedicated Business Studies Lead Teacher to join our vibrant academy in Medway. This pivotal role involves developing and delivering a comprehensive Business Studies curriculum. The position is ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact in the educational journey of our students, starting after the upcoming half term or in January 2025.
Day-to-day of the role:- Develop and implement a robust Business Studies curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Lead the Business Studies department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make adjustments as necessary.
- Mentor and support other teachers within the department, promoting continuous professional development.
- Engage with students to inspire and motivate them in the subject of Business Studies.
- Collaborate with other department heads and senior management to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in Business Studies or a related field.
- Proven experience in curriculum development and departmental leadership.
