Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Daily Supply / Fixed Term Contract
Full time hours
Immediate start / March 2025
Academics Rochester are working with multiple Primary Schools across Medway and Swale who are in need of experienced and motivational HLTA's, for daily cover and long term contracts.
As a HLTA, responsibilities will include
- Covering PPA time for teachers
- Small group work with pupils who require additional support with English and Maths
- Delivering planned lessons to the class
The ideal HLTA must have / be:
- Experience working as a HLTA
- Expert behaviour management and have a range of techniques
- Experience working with learners with a range of Educational Needs
- These young people need consistency and so you need to be able to commit to working for a long period of time
- Experience across all Primary ages.
- HLTA qualification desirable
