We are looking for that special someone who has the qualities to support and make a positive difference to a non-verbal EYFS student. Based in Rochester for a 6 January 2025 start.

The student is non - verbal, visually impaired so is very sensory, working at a low level and shows a lot of caring traits. The right candidate would need to be able to understand triggers to develop their learning experience, supportive, and nurturing with a kind nature.

6 January 2025 start - 19 July 2025

Monday to Friday (Term time only) 30 hours per week

For this SEN teaching assistant role:

  • Experience and knowledge of working with Non Verbal students
  • Skills relating to strategies to support the students triggers and traits.
  • Be able to learn through play in a EYFS environment
  • An interest, motivation and passion for working with students that have Learning Disabilities.
  • Supportive with a calm and patient nature.
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within this
  • Toileting schedule is in place for the student

Qualified with a relevant L2/L3 Teaching Assistant or Care qualification
