Academics Rochester are recruiting for a Specialist Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school based in Gillingham to start ASAP.

This is a full time, temporary to long term position for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will be working alongside a Key stage 2 pupil, with behavioural needs, under the direction of the class teacher.

It is essential you have experience of

  • Supporting pupils with SEN
  • Experience of working with children that require behaviour support
  • Excellent level of literacy and numeracy
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Fully enhanced DBS (if you do not have a DBS; Academics can assist you with applying for one)
