We are a specialist independent school for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is seeking a dedicated Teacher to deliver a highly personalised curriculum to secondary aged pupils. Day to Day of the Role:
  • Deliver personalised teaching to meet the diverse needs of students with ASD.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that encourage self-confidence, independence, and resilience.
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to facilitate learning and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall learning programme, ensuring student progression.
  • Engage with pupils beyond the classroom, supporting their development and wellbeing.
  • Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience in classroom teaching and working with children who have ASD.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and inspection requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with learners, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • Patience and skills to manage behaviour effectively.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
