Customer Service Administrator

Onsite – Rochester - 1 day WFH option

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Customer Services, the Customer Service Administrator holds a critical position within a busy department, you will use your meticulous eye for detail, confident communication skills and ability to remain focused to ensure that customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders are supported effectively.

With high volume orderst o be processed, you as the Customer Service Administrator will thrive and be confident in the detail of the data, one who can identify and rectify any queries.  Additionally, if you enjoy producing reports, collating and reporting on production time, scrutinizing of transport and delivery details – then this could be just the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that UK production is cost effective & identify savings where possible.
  • Maintain customer order details and liaise with colleauges in the manufacturing site to ensure orders are on time, resolving any queries and reporting back to the client
  • Chase suppliers for delivery dates, negotiating on improved dates where necessary.
  • Resolve issues relating to production planning conflicts & issues
  • Raise purchase orders & delivery notes, update goods-in and finished goods information
  • Book in deliveries with customers and hauliers & arrange UK collections where necessary
  • Regularly liaise with relevant internal stakeholders including, sales, design, production
