New Directions Education is actively seeking motivated Cover Supervisors to support schools across Medway. As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you'll step in to cover both short-term and long-term absences, ensuring students receive high-quality supervision and support during lessons, allowing teachers' plans to be executed smoothly.
Responsibilities as a Supply Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring that the lesson plan is followed.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Support students with any questions or issues, promoting engagement in their work.
- Adapt to different subjects and year groups as needed across various schools.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working in a school setting or similar role.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A flexible and confident approach to managing different classes.
- Passion for working with students and supporting their educational journey.
