We are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to join a dynamic team at our clients site. The client is a leader in renewable energy, based on the West Coast of Scotland. This pivotal role comes with overall accountability for ensuring the Maintenance Team meets compliance requirements while driving data-led decision-making and operational excellence.

Your Role:

  • Support the Site Leader in budget setting and defining site KPIs.
  • Take day-to-day ownership of monitoring KPIs, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Lead efforts to meet or exceed budget, maintenance, and process targets.
  • Analyse data trends to enhance operations and foster a data-driven culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement through proactive problem-solving and team leadership.

Key Skills and Attributes:

Essential:

  • Experience with Permit to Work systems.
  • Exceptional mathematical, communication, and IT skills (especially Excel).
  • Integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical abilities.
  • Proven capability to lead a team and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Anaerobic Digestion or similar operations.
  • Involvement in site commissioning or setting up new sites.
  • Auditing experience and relevant safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH).
  • Six Sigma or similar process-related training.

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • HND in engineering or equivalent experience.
    • Strong academic background in Mathematics and a science-related subject.
    • Full UK Driving License (manual & automatic) and access to your own vehicle.
  • Preferred:
    • Additional safety or process-related certifications.
