Maintenance Technician - Mechanical

Purpose of Role: To apply mechanical technical expertise to safely carry out planned, reactive and emergency work scopes as assigned from the maintenance plan within the maintenance system (CMMS). The assigned work scopes will be carried out safely, accurately and on time to maximise plant and equipment uptime and protect Company assets within their lifecycle. Data collation and assessment of trends are fundamental to driving a data-led decision-making culture, so it is imperative that required maintenance information is entered into the CMMS system accurately and in a timely manner.

Willingness to go above and beyond, a ‘can-do' attitude

An ability to problem solve and more importantly to proactively problem solve at times without guidance. Ability to work off own initiative, multi-task, and work at a fast pace.

Experience (Essential):

Must have previous experience in a similar role – ideally 2+ years

Experience of working with similar plant/equipment

Qualifications (Essential):

HNC in Engineering Practice/Mechanical Engineering) or

Modern Apprenticeship completed or

N/SVQ level 3 – Mechanical ECITB
