Area Director - Care Homes
Location: Wales
Position: Area Director - Care Homes
Pay: £70,000per annum + Car allowance
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent

As the Area Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and strategic direction for a portfolio of care homes in Wales. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
 
Your role will involve:

  • Leadership of a group of Home Managers and Senior Home Manager/s to deliver quality care
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of each home, ensuring adherence to quality standards and financial targets.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including local authorities, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations, ensuring compliance and adapting strategies accordingly.


To be considered for the role we are looking for someone with:
 

  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the healthcare sector, preferably in nursing/residential homes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong commercial knowledge - budgeting, occupancy
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
