Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for an Administrator on behalf of our reputable client based in Blantyre. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to kick start their career in a dynamic and fast-paced Accounts Office setting.

While the initial focus will be on administrative duties, this role offers great potential for progression. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway towards transitioning into an Accounts position over the next few years. About the Role:

The primary focus of this position is to provide essential administrative support to the Accounts department. You’ll be responsible for managing a range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities. 

Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, providing a structured workweek with excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organising, filing, and scanning important documents to maintain orderly records.

• Accurate data entry into both the purchase ledger and sales ledger systems.

• Handling and distributing daily post and internal communications.

• Assisting with general office administration to support the wider team.

Skills and Attributes We’re Looking For:

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with an ability to process information accurately.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.

• A positive, can-do attitude paired with a strong work ethic.

• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a busy office environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
