Salary: Starting at £40,976 per annum, DOE

Are you experienced within a busy accountancy firm? Have you completed your professional exams or are you experienced in both accounts prep and audit work?

We are looking for an Audit Associate to join our leading firm of chartered accountants and financial advisors.

In order to be successful in this Audit Associate role you must have most of the below:

  • A solid understanding of the full audit cycle; planning, fieldwork, and completion.
  • The ability to prepare year-end statutory accounts, with an understanding of FRS 102.
  • The desire to delegate to junior members of the team whilst supporting them in their development.
  • Experience in building lasting client relationships.
  • Research experience, having researches client accountancy issues and can hold meaningful conversations with clients and colleagues to the rules and regulations of doing business in the UK.

And be:

  • ICAS or ACCA qualified
  • Aware of WIP and fee targets
  • Forward-thinking with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Able to or will have just started reviewing junior work
  • Keen for progression
