Role Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audits for a diverse client portfolio
• Conduct risk assessments and develop bespoke audit strategies tailored to client needs
• Perform on-site and remote fieldwork, ensuring audit quality and compliance with regulations
• Review and prepare financial statements in line with UK GAAP and IFRS standards
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the audit process
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning
• Identify and address technical challenges, offering practical recommendations to clients
• Seek opportunities to enhance client services, including advisory and business improvement initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• ACA/CA/ACCA qualified with recent experience in UK practice
• Strong understanding of UK auditing standards and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor junior team members
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• A collaborative team player with leadership potential
