Job Purpose
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest quality service is always delivered
  • Run audits from planning to completion, championing compliance at every step
  • Undertake complex audit areas during fieldwork, working closely with Senior Audit Managers as required
  • Attend planning and clearance meetings, taking an active role by preparing accordingly and offering commentary
  • Review draft accounts
  • Manage work delegated to junior staff, providing mentorship and constructive feedback
  • Build strong rapport with clients, acting as their go-to person
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling queries effectively
  • Keep up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
  • Organise your own workload, ensuring client expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA qualified, part qualified or equivalent
  • Previous experience within UK practice
  • Demonstrable track record in the delivery of audit assignments
  • Good knowledge of ISA and UK GAAP
  • Demonstrable experience using relevant audit software such as ProAudit, Sage and Xero
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider team
  • Ability to work autonomously and organise own workload
  • A drive for progression and self-development within the firm
