Due to extensive growth, Contraflow Ltd is seeing a Compliance Manager to be based in our Perth or Cumbernauld Office. Your work is key in maintaining the company's reputation and integrity andalso ensure that the business delivers a quality service to the highest safety standards in compliance with environmental regulations. Key responsibilities:

GENERAL (SHEQ)
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with current laws, regulations and internal policies
  • Interpret and communicate regulatory changes - ensuring these are tracked
  • Champion compliance best practice and contribute to robust and effective controls
  • Educate employees on the relevant regulations and the impact of non-compliance
  • Assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests
  • Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance
Health & Safety
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Traffic Management regulationsandensure the Training Team to deliverstraining, assessments, and audits in line with regulations and expectations
  • Perform compliance audits to understand risk level, significance and scope
  • Work with the external H&S advisor and discuss / implement any findings from their visits
  • Work closely with the transport team to audit the closing out of vehicle defects and ensure processes are followed in this
  • Ensure any incidents or unsafe acts are fully investigatedand closed out
  • Implement preventative and/or corrective measures to mitigate risk
Quality
  • Take control of the ISO9001 quality management processes
  • Manage and undertake internal audits
  • Ensure any quality issues or complaints are investigated and closed out
  • Implement preventative and/or corrective measures to mitigate risk
  • Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues
  • Maintain, review and update the organisation's internal procedures and policies

Experience

Experience of Compliance / Risk Management within a similar environment is essential.

You willbe driven tomaintain and improve current internal processes and documentation to insure the highest standards of Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental adherence.
