KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this extremely successful company on the outskirts of Glasgow, to recruit a qualified Financial Accountant. Your duties will be as follows:
  • Planning and compliance with statutory returns and accounting regulations
  • Looking at VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D and intragroup trading
  • Supporting with reviews and publishing of annual reports and policies
  • Consolidation of monthly management accounts - P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statement
  • Removal of intragroup revenue, debtors and creditors for reporting to the Board
  • Consolidation of group cashflow forecasts, performing net working capital reviews and analysis
  • Supporting the group with objectives including investments, budgeting and expenditure
  • Reporting balance sheet trends and analysis and performing quarterly reviews with stakeholders
  • Ensuring documentation is in place over the internal controls and assisting with the collation of SAO return documentation
  • Monitoring compliance within any banking or funding covenants set; ensuring they are part of the budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Oversight of the invoice financing month end reconciliations
  • Reviewing reconciliations ahead of submission and forecasting the cashflow impact
  • Support on interim and year end audit preparation to ensure a clean audit
  • Working with the commercial team and their monthly reporting packs
  • Involvement in budgeting and forecasting activities; P & L, balance sheet and cash projections
  • Leading continuous improvement in the business
  • Working with various departments and supporting the business with ad-hoc costing and financial support where required

You will be a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant and ideally have worked in an accountancy practice previously, with at least one year in industry post-qualification.
