Description
- Responsibility for preparation of weekly cash forecasts, working closely with the SSC to prepare accurate forecasts
- Assist with the preparation of company forecasts and budgets
- Responsibility for VAT compliance and reporting
- Assist with information gathering and questions from internal and external auditors
- Preparation of the statutory accounts
- Ensuring compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements
- Participating in cross-functional projects to improve financial processes
- Providing financial advice and guidance to management and other departments
- Assisting in the development of accounting policies and procedures
- Supporting other accounting functions as required
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Experience working in the healthcare industry
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications
