About the Role:Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a forward-thinking business in Glasgow for a 6-month contract. This pivotal role will focus on driving transformation and change, overseeing key projects, and designing and implementing efficient financial processes.

As part of a growing and dynamic organisation, you will work closely with senior leadership to optimise financial operations and contribute to the company's strategic initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven finance professional who excels in process improvement and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage financial transformation projects to enhance financial processes and systems.
  • Design, implement, and review financial processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide strategic support to senior management on financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Oversee month-end close processes, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements across the finance function.
  • Develop and review budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, providing insight into financial performance and operational metrics.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

About You:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong experience in financial control and process improvement.
  • Proven track record of driving financial transformation and change management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to oversee and manage complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and ERP software.
  • Experience working in a structurally complex organisation is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results on time and within scope.
