Description
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organisation.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/MD and members of the executive management team.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
- Provide insights on the financial implications of business activities.
- Manage financial planning and analysis department.
- Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place.
- Comply with all financial regulations and standards.
- Line manage small finance functions
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
- Professional accountancy qualification is essential, eg CIMA, ACCA, ICAS etc
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
- Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent regulations.
- Ability to strategise and solve problems.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
