Description
- Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations within the company.
- Support with year end preparation
- Implement and maintain effective control procedures.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Assist the business with a ERP implementation.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate with the management team on strategic financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax and financial reporting regulations.
- Evaluate the company's performance using key data.
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification.
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
This role is 5 days a week in the office in Glasgow - no remote working
