The Role

Key Responsibilities of the Internal Auditor:
- Lead and deliver internal audits and investigations across the business
- Evaluate design adequacy and operating effectiveness of financial controls
- Provide high-quality internal audit reports to management and the Audit Committee
- Follow up on agreed management actions
- Stay updated with financial reporting standards and industry best practices
Required knowledge and experience for the Internal Auditor role:
- Recognised accountancy (CCAB) qualification
- At least 3 years post-qualifying experience in financial controls
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Knowledge of IFRS and financial controls best practices
- Experience in relevant industries (e.g., FMCG, manufacturing, retail) is desirable
