Pertemps is seeking a Management Accountant for a well-known organization to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The role offers a salary of up to £46,000 depending on experience and requires a minimum of 3 years of Management Accounts experience.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and collaborating with stakeholders to analyze financial results.
Candidates should possess a degree in Finance or a related field, along with a professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, or ACA.

Pertemps are delighted to be working on behalf of a well-known organisation who are currently looking to add to their growing finance team with the appointment of a Management Accountant. Working within the finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Business Partner across all aspects of financial information including monthly reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc requests.Salary up to £46k DOE – This role is for a 12 month fixed term contract.v Hybrid working modelv Modern officesv On-site gymv Free parkingv Close to public transport linksKey Responsibilities:• Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentary• Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations• Be a subject matter expert on the respective BU results• Prepare, review and challenge budgets, business plans and forecasts• Maintain financial control processes• Proactively suggest and implement process improvements• Liaise with BU stakeholders on a regular basis in order to help them understand financial results• Liaising with auditors both internally and externally• Providing balance sheet and P & L Analysis• Other ad hoc finance tasks• Be involved in projects as requiredCandidate Requirements:-Degree in Finance or business-related subject or an equivalent qualification.-3 years Management Accounts experience-Professional Accountancy Qualification ACCA/CIMA/CA/ACA or finalist with 2 exams left -Strong experience in preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliations, audit involvement.-Experience in dealing with challenging stakeholders and communicating with non-finance stakeholders at various levels.-Experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment-Excellent problem solving and analytic skills-Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence people at all levels of the organisation.I look forward to receiving your application.Pertemps acts as both an employment business and an employment agency.
