Reed Finance is working with a client based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the postholder will work between the finance department and wider business, responsible for effective financial management and reporting.

Our client is open to candidates who are qualified, qualified by experience or part qualified accountants, as long as you possess the relevant experience required for the role. The main responsibilities the positions entails are:

  • Prepare multi year budgets for projects and make in-year adjustments for quarterly re-forecasting, providing variance analysis where necessary
  • Regularly meet with budget holders to give advice on project accounting and provide financial updates
  • Prepare and provide financial reports to budget holders
  • Engage with external auditors on regular visits
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts

To be considered for the role, you must possess the following:

  • Either a fully qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience accountant
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills to deal with stakeholders
