Meraki Talent are excited to leading the recruitment process for a Senior Fund Accountant for our long standing Financial Services client.The CompanyOur client is a hugely successful financial service business, and through a strategic global strategy are relocating a key finance operational function and investing in their Glasgow office, and will be looking to build this team out throughout 2025.The Role

  • Provide fund valuation and accountancy duties to a range of client: PE / VC and Private Capital funds
  • Ensure appropriate Regulatory compliance and governance
  • Develop, build and enhance client relationships
  • Preparing and analysing financial statements under IFRS and UK/US GAAP
  • Monthly reconciliations, financial control of fund management
  • Preparing audit files for auditors and client meetings
  • Develop relationships with auditors for discussions on year end processes

You will ideally have a background in Fund Accounting or an Audit background with a client portfolio on Wealth and Asset Management. Knowledge or experience of various fund structures, will be advantageous. Additionally, you will have a strong grasp of US/UK GAPPP and IRFS. On Offer

Candidate Profile

  • Ideally qualified ACCA / ACA or with significant Fund Accounting and Control experience
  • Fund Accounting, Valuations, Private Capital, Private Equity, Audit
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
