Key Responsibilities


Managing and planning the internal audit work on a varied high profile client portfolio, including, public, education, charity and private sectors, whilst supporting director/partners and providing strong management and guidance across the team.

Reviewing audit assignments and providing technical guidance to clients and staff as necessary, supervising and guiding audit assignments where required

Managing, coaching and training of internal audit staff, including support for trainees and newly qualified staff

Aiding development of department through production of tender documents and other business development tasks

Management of the department team, and responsible for department administration


The ideal person


Professional qualified- CIA, CMIIA, CA, ACA, ACCA

Significant internal audit experience

Appropriate awareness of Internal Audit Standards

Experience in business development activity

Confident and professional communication skills

Proven people ma
