  • Our client, a leading CA Firm, is seeking an experienced Personal Tax or Mixed Personal & Corporate Tax Senior/Tax specialist to join their Glasgow-based tax team.

Our client , a leading, well established CA Firm seeks to recruit EITHER an experienced Personal Tax or Mixed Personal & Corporate Tax Senior/Tax specialist to join their tax team based in Glasgow.


3 days per week- flexible on working pattern, can be an annualised hours or to work around school holidays, term time and either hybrid or office based working.

This role encompasses making an effective and positive contribution to our client's corporate and/or personal tax advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

To liaise with Department Head/Manager to deliver tax returns

To liaise with clients to obtain information and manage deadlines

To prepare tax returns, computations and schedules

To offer advice to clients and ensure statutory regulations are understood

To attend client meetings where required

To research tax technical issues where required

To manage workflow and ensure jobs are delivered on time and, where appropriate, to meet agreed completion/submission targets

To manage and control wip on a monthly basis

To prepare fees on a monthly basis

To keep technically up to date with attendance at courses, personal reading and research

Our client seek someone with several years tax experience from another UK Accountancy Firm with good client focus, strong interpersonal, team working and organisational skills and a 'can do' flexible approach.

You will either be ATT/CTA qualified or studying towards this - study assistance offered, if desired or more qualified by your broad tax experience and keen to work part time.
