Astute's Nuclear team is exclusively partnering with one of the leaders in complex infrastructure programs across the utilities and nuclear sector to recruit a Senior, Lead, or Principal Civil Structural Engineer for its Glasgow site.
The Civil Structural Engineer role comes with a salary of up to 70,000, a great pension package of up to 8% from client, car allowance and other benefits.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will:
* Determine the functional requirements and stakeholder needs for the assigned project.
* Oversee contractor engineering support for the project.
* Assist in the project optioneering process.
* Review and approve project drawings and documentation.
* Manage detailed design activities in compliance with HMNB (Clyde) standards.
* Conduct technical assessments and approvals of contractors' work instructions, method statements, and risk assessments.
