Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth execution and on-time completion of all tasks to the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Create accurate 3D CAD models, drawings, and product definitions (Quality Plans).
- Develop innovative designs and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
- Prepare detailed design reports and actively participate in design reviews.
- Apply knowledge of material selection and applications to optimize designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address engineering design challenges.
What We're Looking For:
- Education and/or Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification to HNC/Degree level or equivalent experience in a related engineering design field.
- Excellent knowledge of Design and Manufacturing Techniques.
- Knowledge of International Standards related to small, medium, and large rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps, hydro turbines, and induction motors.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand Component Manufacturing Drawings, Technical Specifications, and Operating/Maintenance instructions/procedures.
