We are looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to join our innovative team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge systems through a DevOps-based firmware lifecycle. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex projects, from design through to testing and deployment, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-level and low-level firmware requirements, using tools such as DOORS and creating architectural designs.
  • Write VHDL/Verilog HDL code and simulate designs at unit, integration, and system levels using Mentor Graphics QuestaSIM.
  • Perform synthesis, place and route, and static timing analysis using Synopsys Synplify, targeting Xilinx FPGAs.
  • Automate processes with Python and manage version control using GIT.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Software, Systems, and Electronics) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Continuously improve firmware development processes for cost reduction, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to safety-critical development standards (e.g., IEC62566) and support process and technical audits.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HND in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Strong experience in digital electronics design and programmable logic device design.
  • Familiarity with real-time systems and safety-critical development constraints.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing processes.
