Reed Engineering are working alongside or client who is looking to add a Quality Engineer to their team on a permanent basis in Glasgow.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2pm

Salary: DOE

Daily Duties -

  • New product introduction including use of tools (e.g. PPAP, FMEA, APQP), first article inspection reports, creation of route cards and supporting documentation, communicating with customers, and resolving issues
  • Carry out data analysis, suggest improvement activities, and implement improvements e.g. Lean Six Sigma, RCA
  • Assist with supplier audit, raising of complaints, update approved supplier list and selection process
  • Support with non-conformance reports and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits to relevant standards e.g. AS9100, NADCAP
  • Carry out material review board (MRB) activities, interpreting drawings and standards,
  • Update Quality Management System and support management where required

Candidate Requirements -

  • Degree qualified within an engineering/quality discipline or relevant experience
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Driving Licence
