Senior Quality Systems Engineer, GlasgowOverview:
Join a leading manufacturing organisation with multiple sites across the UK. This rare opportunity is based at their well-established site on the outskirts of Glasgow. The role involves overseeing two metrology engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive product and process quality planning, ensuring compliance with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 standards.
Monitor, analyse, and report on customer processes and delivery performance to maintain high quality standards, focusing on defects, quality costs, and customer returns.
Performing root cause analysis for internal and external non-conformances, ensuring timely reporting and keeping customers informed about corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
Protect the commercial interests of the client in all customer interactions.

Duties:
Implement and maintain customer requirements, aiming for 100% monthly performance and zero defects (DPPM).
Develop and implement process controls to meet quality objectives.
Ensure adherence to OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 standards in all processes.
Continuously improve internal and external controls, systems, and performance.
Support production personnel and quality auditors in understanding and meeting quality requirements, with the authority to halt production to address quality issues.

Meet customer requirements consistently.
Continuously improve process, product, and delivery performance, aiming for zero DPPM.
