We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our client's dynamic team, focusing on offshore wind projects in the EU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore wind construction, with a preference for those who have worked on European offshore wind projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of offshore wind construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Ideally Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field - or extensive demonstrable experience in Construction Management relating to Offshore Wind
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore wind construction.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the European offshore wind sector.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore wind construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
  • Full GWO's current or previously held (will require at some stage)
  • Offshore Medical + Chester Step current or previously held (will require at some stage)
  • Experience with European offshore wind construction projects.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) - Desirable
