Hays is delighted to have partnered with one of Scotland's leading and award-winning architectural practices; they are looking for a talented project architect to join their ever-expanding team, where their employees are valued and people are at the heart of their business.You will be joining a well-established consultancy, founded over 110 years ago with offices in Glasgow and London. Highly specialised, they are experts in the delivery of advanced education, science and health projects. As a result of this specialisation and their strong return client base, the practice offers a high level of security in their workload and makes a committed investment in their team.Your first project will be a £30 million higher education development for one of the practice's consistent clients, which is currently going to RIBA stage 2.As a Project Architect, you will be required to:

  • Carry projects through from concept to completion.
  • Use CAD to produce architectural designs.
  • Liaise with contractors and clients where necessary.
  • Display a high level of understanding of education, health or science design principles.
  • Display a high level of understanding of the holistic build cycle.
  • Produce technical drawings with autonomy.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you:

  • Are highly proficient with AutoCAD.
  • Have RIBA/ARB chartership.
  • Have good experience in either the education, health or science sectors.
  • Have experience working on big budget projects.
  • Have experience job-running projects
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced background.
