Hays is delighted to have partnered with one of Scotland's leading design and management consultancies; they are looking for a talented architect to join their ever-expanding team, where their employees are valued and people are at the heart of their business.You will be joining a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy, with 5 design offices across Scotland. Specialising in the delivery of office developments, particularly CAT A and B fit-outs, they also have a footprint in the distillery and hospitality markets.Due to their strong return client base and quick project turn around, usually 4-6 months, the practice can offer a high level of job security and make a committed investment in their team. They are looking for a talented senior architect or associate to come in at the associate level and hit the ground running, leading their Aberdeen practice in the delivery of a variety of fast moving projects.As a Senior Architect/Associate, you will be required to:

  • Carry projects through from concept to completion.
  • Manage project teams below you, ensuring effective delivery
  • Liaise with contractors, clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Display a high level of understanding of the interior architecture cycle.
  • Manage a high volume of projects.
  • Produce drawings on Revit or AutoCAD with autonomy.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you:

  • Are highly proficient with AutoCAD
  • Have some experience with Revit.
  • Have RIBA/ARB chartership.
  • Have good commercial sector experience.
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced background.
  • Have good experience managing teams
  • Have experience job-running projects.
