Royalties Team Member

We are seeking a Royalties Team Member to join our clients Group Finance division. This role is pivotal in ensuring their clients, who are at the core of our operations, receive accurate and timely royalty reporting and payments. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for complex queries and will work closely with authors, agents, and internal teams.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Interpret royalty contracts, rules, and calculations to ensure accurate reporting and payments
  • Investigate and resolve complex queries related to contracts, sales, units, and rates
  • Maintain meticulous author records and provide precise author/agent statements and remittances
  • Manage VAT and tax postings in compliance with legislation
  • Oversee the review and approval of manual and automatic payment runs for royalties and advances
  • Efficiently manage the royalties mailbox and daily error reports to capture rejected sales and other issues
  • Adhere to SOX & audit controls and ensure data security in line with GDPR
  • Participate in ad hoc tasks, project work, system updates testing, and may include some limited travel
