Three Bridges Recruitment is partnering with a renowned legal firm in Glasgow. They are for an Accounts Payable Administrator for their Glasgow office on a 10 month (FTC) This role is an ideal role for a Purchase Ledger Assistant with experience in the legal sector or professional services sector that is looking for a new exciting role that offers the chance to develop and enhance your skills.

Job

The role of Accounts Payable Administrator will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Administration of Expense System
  • Collaboration with Finance Systems Team and Financial Accountants
  • Liaising with External Auditors on tax queries
  • Policy work with HR and Tax teams
  • Streamlining expenses/credit card and travel data processing
  • Analysing and auditing expense transactions
  • User administration for new starters and leavers
  • Audit of non-compliant expense claims
  • Managing corporate credit card programmes and reconciliations
  • Producing monthly reports for budget holders
  • Supporting Cashiers with bank reconciliations
  • Resolving financial enquiries from stakeholders and suppliers
  • Broad Accounts Payable function knowledge

You

As an Accounts Payable Administrator you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Relevant experience in Accounts Payable Administration
  • Strong understanding of financial systems
  • Experience with financial reconciliation and reporting
  • Excellent communication and service orientation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and high professional standards
  • Compliance awareness with firm policies and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with legal or professional services environment is a plus
