Graduate Finance AdministratorGlasgow£12.50 per hour

Search is hiring a Graduate Finance Administrator to join a friendly and vibrant office near Glasgow's Southside. This is an initial temporary contract with a planned end date of June 2025, with the potential for the role to become permanent.The successful candidate will play a key role in providing efficient administrative support to a busy finance team and will report directly to the Financial Controller.

Monday - Friday / 09:00 - 17:00 / 35 hours per week

Main Duties:* Process invoices quickly and accurately, matching them to purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies.* Reconcile bank, supplier, and customer accounts, fixing variances and maintaining accurate records for audits.* Manage finance email inboxes, responding to queries and ensuring timely follow-ups.* Support Finance Analysts and Business Partners by sharing data and assisting with financial tasks.* Report to the Financial Controller with updates, flagging issues, and helping prepare reports.* Handle payment runs, respond to finance queries, and keep databases up to date.* Follow company policies, assist with audits, and suggest ways to improve processes.

The Ideal Candidate:* A recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.* Ideally, some experience working in an office environment, such as an internship or part-time role.* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.* Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with a keen interest in developing a finance career.
