The Role:We are seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their team. You will play a vital role in managing the firm’s financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting our busy conveyancing department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling client and office account transactions in compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR).
  • Managing bank reconciliations, including client and office accounts.
  • Processing payments via online banking systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Managing billing, invoicing, and posting transactions accurately.
  • Liaising with solicitors, clients, and external bodies regarding financial queries.
  • Preparing monthly and annual accounts for audits.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Cashier, preferably within residential conveyancing.
  • Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency with legal accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
