Your new company

Based in the East End of Glasgow area, our client is recruiting for a bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary basis for 3-6 months. The role is a 35-hour working week, with standard hours being 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of two days required in the office each week.

Your new role

In this role, you will report directly to the Finance Director and carry out a variety of transactional processing duties. You will also serve as a key point of contact for finance related queries, working closely with both internal teams and external vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Your duties may also include but are not limited to performing reconciliations and assisting in the preparation of management accounts up to trial balance.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have strong accounting experience and have strong attention to detail. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate openly and build positive relationships both internally and externally. You will have experience working with Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables. You must also be available to start the role at short notice and able to hit the ground running.
